Family Notes: All family names listed are of the founding families. They are all considered wealthy and often own trade if not land (and are leasing it to the common population) and live in small estates with plenty of acreage around it.

Common People Families and Names: There are 'commoners' among every clan. They are still clansmen but they do not necessarily have the listed family names. These people have a family name that is passed down from their fore-fathers. They are not related to the founders and thus do not need to have one of the listed names.

Stereotypical Personality Type
This clan prefers to frequent the courts. They are the traders, dealers and backstabbers all at once. Though their loyalties know no bounds and their word is their honor (which they take heavily) they are literalists. Masters of deception and ninjitsu, they are often sought after for unhanded dealings. They have a ‘ninja’s honor’ which is to say; they follow their own code of ethics while pretending to be ‘just like the rest’. To the rest of the kingdom this clan is known for its political mastery in the courts, and its fine trade and finances.
MEDIA EXAMPLES: Akabane (Get Backers), Tsuzumu (Peace Maker), Riku (Kingdom Hearts), Xellos (Slayers), Trowa (Gundam Wing), Zixx and Darius Dun (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2003 Fast Forward Series)

Industry: Silks and spices, this clan's land lends towards refinements of life and thus they make a pretty penny off of it. They also have lumber to sell, having both bamboo and conifer forests in their lands.

Food Production: Their food production is focused around game (deer, rabbit and other forest fuzzies) and some fishing. They have enough to feed their clan and often export the meats of their hunting.
