Before You Join...

So you want to join the game? Fine with us but first you have to know a few important things.

Player Responsibilities

· Players will be courteous to one another and to moderators even when impassioned.

· Players will post every two to three days.

· Players will understand that plotlines will be presented with choices in them. If the player’s character makes a wrong choice it is their consequence to deal with.

· Players will make an effort to contribute to posts, meaning they will not simply pause because they are lazy, dissatisfied with the storyline or the other characters on it.

Moderator Responsibilities

· They will manage storyline (please feel free to submit your own ideas though)

· They will build and update the website.

· They will, at their own leisure, create a CIS picture (for the CIS page) and a Character List character portrait for every character. This can be done in 24 hours with a 10 dollar fee.

· They will resolve in game disputes provided they are brought to their attention.

· They will take over for absent players with permission of the players.

· They will balance the group to the best of their abilities.

Group Rules
All players must adhere to posting rules. They are simple common sense and courtesy that is often taken for granted or ignored flat out.

· Pay attention to your thread line. If you are part of a thread, please real all posts between your posts (meaning if you post once on Monday and then again on Wednesday make sure you read all the posts between the two times).

· Have vulnerabilities. Your characters are human and that means supernatural powers will affect them. That includes things that would take the power out of you, the player’s court. Bare in mind it is important to allow the player satisfaction when they use their power.

· Post ever two to three days; keep this pace as much as you can. It is important so that you are not holding up others. This is a community group, which means we are relying on each other to contribute so that the story is written.

· Take arguments to private emails. If there is a problem between members that is group related take it to one of the moderators immediately. Do not assume you know how to handle group related disputes.

· Do not modify or create your own (with out permission) post titles. Do not add or remove any names put on them. The titles aka subject lines of post titles is up to the moderators.

· Minor environmental NPCs; the butcher, the baker and the candlestick maker, can be played by a player so long is they are never: 1. Given any real identify and 2. Not played for more then absolutely required. Other NPCs that are plot related are played only by moderators or players with granted permission.

· Do not badger the moderators to finish and publish (put up on the site) an image or story unless you plan to physically pay them money. We have lives, we need to live them, if we are inconvenienced then you pay for our time. Further turn around can be anywhere from 1 week to 1 month (or more given life happens and inspiration fades).

· No links shall be placed on the Yahoo Links section of the Yahoo!Groups.
