Psychology Shay grew up in a major way after being taken by Shelton, as a result she is a shadow of the feisty girl she once was. She is level headed, controlling perhaps, and overly dedicated to her brother. She almost comes across as a sardonic and bitter mother who was fanatically out to protect her child. Selfless where Terry is concerned, she would do anything to help him mentally heal since she feels completely at fault for his current state of mind. She can be very vindictive and viscous if pushed.
Phobias: That the Giovanni will tire of their "issues" and kick them out. She also fears Terry finally shattering mentally and going wild enough to need putting down.
Addictions: She has a compulsion to seeing to her brother's well being, so much so that she doesn't feel anyone else can take care of him as well as she can.

History
Yet another of the many kids who woke up on the nightclub floor, her memories span the following: She has always by her brother's side, they are twins (non-identical obviously) and the two have always been close. She was taken away from him and she came to hate everything while she focused on finding him again. She remembers that somehow she came to speak in other people's heads and immedately tried to contact her brother. He was scared and barely sane, she immedately comforted him. Her voice kept him sane. When they were all "freed" she woke with him there and he knew her instantly, despite the years apart. He has become very dependant on her sense and she has become dependant on protecting him.

When she was 17 she met Jack for the first time. He had bailed out her and some of the other kids from a gang fight and she was greatful - but she never trusted him. The two met a few other times, but not once was she honest with him about anything - ultimately her instincts proved true, Jack was a traitor. It was him, along with Caden and many military types, that raided the club and stole her and Terry on Christmas night. She had been so happy, looking forward to presents and celebration... then she woke up alone in a cell and she could feel how scared her brother was without her!

Since that time her life became hell. Shelton experimented on her and Terry constantly to teach them new ways to use their powers and hopefully draw out more powers from them. Her brother did come into a new power, she did not. Then, to get them to cooperate with them completely, the planted bombs into each twin at the base of the neck. If either one acts up against the company the OTHER twin will be killed.

While trapped in the cell, losing her mind slowly and feeling her brother was farther down that dark path then she was, Jack came to her often. At first she hated him for betraying them, but over time she came to realize he was just another pawn. Another tool for the company and so she gave up hating him and just didn't care anymore.

When she was 19 her and her brother was sent out to attack their old friends. While she was initially against this (though still forced given the bombs) she began to almost enjoy the idea when she saw how happy they all seemed. Content in their comfertable lives as though nothing ever happened that night two years before.

Shortly after that Chino arranged a plan that removed the bomb and set them free. Her brother and her instantly agreed to join the mafia, anything beat staying with Shelton, and Jack and Caden followed them. As a result Jack and her kept regular contact and without him being a simpering Shelton dog she even began to like having his company around.

At the age of 21 she tried to get romantic with Jack, but knew it would break Terry who hated Jack passionately. As a result she brought Jack out to a Carnival to have fun before letting him off gently, instead he took it as her vindictively trying to lure him out and hurt him. irrate of his callous assumption, she stormed off and when Jack tried to straighten out the matter Terry violently intervened.

After, worried the violent actions would get Terry some black marks, Shay talked with Chino about it. He promised her that they were not looking to kick the twins out any time soon and she only hopes she can believe that. Especially when Chino put them on different teams!
