His minor is like a "spider sense", he gets a sudden gut instinct that tells him something is wrong. His power only works towards the negative such as warning him of attacks, or pain/death for those he cares deeply for. It never warns him of anything positive (pregnancy, that someone cares about him, etc). Elijah also possess the ability to make something/someone heavier or lighter. This power does not create any visual affects but takes a lot of his concentration when he is casually using it and far less when he is angry. He higher his rage, the higher his capacity. While this power may have "other" abilities within its reach he doesn't try to use them and thus they go unnoticed/untapped.

Psychology A serious and bitter man, with a snide sense of humor, Elijah is very focused. When he loves something he loves it passionately and without limits, when he hates something he is the same and will hunt it to the end of the earth to destroy it. Passionate at he is, the only "good" things in his life came from anger and he tends to see the world through shades of it as a result, not looking to form deep connections with others as a resul. Still, despite his critical nature he often tends to see into others more deeply then they realize, throwing out advice right on the mark with their subconscious thoughts on issues in their lives. Very direct, Elijah is brutally honest about himself and others and tends to act on impulse more often then not - this commonly results in losing as many fights as he wins.

History
Elijah remembers his youth but through a haze of rage and pain that drains the joy from most of it. He knows his father was half german and half east indian, born to a mistress of his father's and always fascinated with his mother's heritage. As a result he married an isreali woman and they were, from what Elijah recalls, happy. He learned many things from his mother's culture and enjoyed them, his father completely supportive. If there was anything negative it has been vaniquished by what came after and veiwed purely through a rose colored glass.

When he was twelve his "ability" began to show itself. It was little things at first, like when he didn't want to be forced to go somewhere his parents suddenly couldn't MOVE him, or when he did want something it (very rarely) had the habit of trying to float across the room towards him. While his parents were shocked they were never judgemental, beleiving it was a gift from god and that their son was special. Someday he would do great things.

Sadly this "special" was what destroyed the family. His father brough them both along on a buisness trip to Metropolis, their technology firm was making a big money deal with Shelton and as the representitive Walter was comming to sign the deal in person. Upon arrival they had a pleasant meeting with the CEO, Jacob, and the man seemed very friendly. He refused to let them waste money on an expensive hotel room and instead offered them a room at his corperate suite. That night, as they slept, their beds were raided and they were dragged to the scientific facility in secret. There Jacob revealed that he'd heard from a spy of Elijah's abilities. He launched a cover story to their company, using them as hostages against each other to get them to verify it, and said they had moved permanantly over to the city.

From that point on Elijah's life was hell. He and several others were used in various experiments, most of them did not survive the torture sessions. However Elijah was different then the others, his rage was unsurmounted and provided him a deep well of power when it was triggered. He resolved that he would take to this training like a duck to water. Let them test him, let them push him, and once they had forced out of him every ounce they could he'd turn and use the power on THEM! The company renamed him "Project 7".

Eventually he bonded with another "specimen", 49-08, who was an attempt to by Shelton to control the madness factor in the abberations. It worked too well, resulting in a man with an insane amount of power. The two became allies, both patiently waiting for the right day to stike back at the company. The fact that Jethro was willing to wait until Elijah had a chance to save his parents was what cheifly earned his trust.

He was 35 when they finally got out. Jacob and most of the facility were amply distracted with their various issues (Jacob with the whole Barbara issue and the company later with the reveal of psychics to the public). Given their distractions he managed to covertly stop the feed of suppressent to their bloodstream and they broke out. The moment he got out he scrambled to get to his parents only to learn they had been dead for years, kept preserved with plastic and formaldehyde. His final bit of sanity against the company snapped and Jethro pulled him out to escape with one idea: Revenge on Shelton and Jacob.
