Biology
Eyes: He naturally has bright yellow eyes with narrow elliptical pupils. However he likes to use his powers to turn them to blue green but the pupils he doesn’t bother changing since he can explain that off.
Hair: His hair is naturally two-toned with the majority being blonde but the roots being a hilarious salmon pink. Given this isn’t exactly the most manly color he tends to use his powers to make the roots look blonde as well!
Height: 5’7’’
Naturally his skin is a sickly gray-blue cast over a nice tan. Given this makes him look like a zombie it tends to be the aspect of himself he is the most concerned with concealing, particularly given he has a strange hardened scale like flesh over places that typically harden on the human body (knuckles, knees, elbows). He conceals it as his original tan color. He favors a skater style with some light surfer elements and gamer t-shirts.

Psychology Dylan is an energetic and typical young man. He’s lost a lot but never been there to have to truly wrestle with the trauma, meaning while he is a deep thought boy he can still put on that friendly smile and pretend everything is okay. He is eager for acceptance and a new family, attaching quickly to those who praise or accept him in return.
Phobias: That he will relapse into his coma again – more so if he loses his new connections when he wakes up again. He also fears turning into a monster (he’s seen them in the company and they scare him) or losing his limbs.
Addictions: He has a compulsion to the newest and coolest video games (especially shooters) and has a hard time walking away from DC comics.

History
Dylan’s parents were both Shelton employees. They had begun the company with high ideals and a thirst for knowledge, then like many others learned the shady side of the company and realized they couldn’t back out without consequences. Hostage to their own choice of employment, they made the best of it and tried to keep their son out of it. Fate did not agree with their desires, however.

All his young life Dylan was plagued with narcolepsy issues and seizers. He had low stamina to cold because of his bad circulation and was over all a constant medical issue. There were many days, particularly the ones where their child fell and injured himself while passing out of convulsing, that Wanda leaned towards seeking help from the company’s projects. If they made Dylan a specimen it COULD help him. Marcus was strongly opposed, well aware they would lose the rights to their own child. Wanda differed to her husband’s logic, knowing he was right but still a concerned loving mother.

Despite his issues he did enjoy a mostly “normal” life as a child. He went to school, loved skateboarding while out with friends (even though his parents constantly asked him not to because he could fall and seriously hurt himself!) as well as hungrily consuming video games and comics like many others his age.

He was 10 when he and his father were in a tragic car accident. Marcus died in the hospital and Dylan had suffered massive head trauma that left him in a coma thanks to his already fragile mental health. Wanda couldn’t handle the idea that she’d lose both her husband AND her son to this. Without Marcus to hold her back she went to Jacob and asked Shelton to help her child.

The next thing Dylan knows was that he woke in one of their lab rooms and his appearance was completely freakish! He freaked out for a bit before the scientists calmed him down and explained the situation with his parents. Sadly he had been comatose for a year after the accident. His mother was quickly notified as well and the two reunited as he got accustomed not only to being an “alien” but also to a life without his father.

Naturally the company didn’t let him go far. He was a project now. They were very PC about it, allowing his mother to oversee much of what went on and letting him move about with a good dose of freedom, but he was not allowed to go back to school. During that time he would take many walks, noticing other projects he could talk with. Some were free to move like him, but one cute girl wasn’t. He never got her name, save for the strange numbers and letters on her door, but he had to admit he was quite taken with her in a boyish crush sort of way.

In 2018 everything changed, he was 12 at the time. Suddenly the city was in lockdown, Shelton had an army to protect them but there were these bad guys called the Giovanni who were out there fighting them. Then, one day, he got the report his mother was killed in a surprise Giovanni attack and in that attack that cute girl brainwashed and taken. Outraged, hurt and alone he pleaded with Jacob to let him fight in the army as well. He wanted to avenge his mother and maybe someday rescue the girl who Jacob told him went by Amber.

He spent the next four years being trained and has only recently been green lit for field work now that his skills are up to par.
