Psychology A sheltered-only child raised by robots would be an accurate description of 4M83R's upbringing. Living in the same building her whole life with just herself for entertainment has resulted in a girl just discovering the outside world. Amazed at everything. She's in awe and shock to see what she's missed out on, what she's been protected from and who exact Shelton is to those outside it's walls. Fearcly loyal to those who freed her and now look after her, she trusts Simon and Chale completely. They're her heroes and the ones who help keep her hidden from prying Shelton eyes. 4M83R is still learning about the social side of the outside world, but she's already developed a strong liking to hugs and cuddling with Simon or Chale while they watch tv or read.

History
4M83R is a walking experiment, and has been since the moment of her creation. The result of human and alien DNA being spliced together. How exactly the Shelton company came into possession of the alien DNA is one of the many mysteries that shroud the powerful company.

She was raised with all the physical, medical and scholastic requirements Shelton found necessary for her. 4M83R was well taken care of in that manner. She was never mistreated, but she wasn't loved or socialized like other kids her age should be. She was a well cared for pet. Many opportunities were presented to her to learn new things, unaware that all their efforts were to see how advanced she was compared to others. Her mixed DNA didn't grant her supercomputer thoughts, a new language or any other earth moving abilities. Just her inhuman appearance and the ability to alter her appearance into that of other living things.

Sixteen years passed without ever going outside, watching TV or movies; nothing that connected her with the outside aside from a small window in one of the offices she'd sneak into. The world outside the facility she lived in was alien to her. With her ability to shape-shift 4M83R often spent her nights, after lights out, exploring the facility borrowing someones appearance to do it.
It was on one of those expeditions that she came across a few unfamiliar faces moving through the hallway in an odd manner. She had a feeling they didn't belong, a suspicion that was confirmed when she overheard a security radio chirp out that there were intruders.

Not wanting to get caught out of her room 4M83R made her way back to the floor that was home for her. She was passing by a room with the door cracked when her nose picked up a familiar scent. One of the lab techs who gave her physicals, she was about to tell them she had seen the intruders three floors from where security was looking when she hesitated. They were talking about her. Doctor Treshen was requesting authorization to recycle her in order to re sequence her DNA for a more beneficial outcome. Knowing full well that things moved fast in this place 4M83R didn't want to wait around for her end to come. She booked it back to the intruders taking the form of one of the young male interns. Knowing the building's layout and security holes better then most, with borrowed key card in hand she lead the intruders to freedom. One of them, Simon, insisted that 'he' should come with them. Knowing she didn't want to stay 4M83R took him up on his offer.
