In generally he's a nice, supportive guy.  Deeper down he's afraid of loosing those he loves, but is practically enough to accept that fact if it's what has to happen.  Due to his vague earlier memories of what Shelton Inc. had done to him, he had an underlying need to be around people and now wants to do what he has to do and fight to protect the rest of his Family.

History
Allen is one of the many in the “core” group who woke up in the nightclub and that was where his life began. He doesn’t remember most things but he does know he was lover to both Mako and Nicky, as well as a fanatic gamer. He has vague memories of a woman that never looked at him and a man who ignored him. He knows he felt no love from them at all. Next he remembers being in the hospital, being alone and still given no real affection. He remembers blood and being afraid, feeling almost guilty about the blood but he can never figure out more of the body then a slashed wrist (obviously his fear of suicides comes from this some how). He then knows he had "something" with Mako and Nicky but remembers no detials beyond the constant feeling of happiness while around them.

Life at the Hang Out ran pretty smooth for awhile. There wasn't much money, but he had his games, his friends and his lovers. What more did a kid need? But come Christmas time that all was to change drastically. It was the perfect holiday scene: a tree, presents, the smell of home-baked cookies...that is until the door was kicked in and knock-out gas pellets were flying through the air. He, Nicky and Aurora could only watch helplessly in the astral plane as Moka as Kirranu tried to fight off the weird military types that came in and snatched up Shay and Terry. To make matters worse, one of the attackers was recognized for a kid they had previously taken into their group, Caden! Talk about betrayal.

Since their home was now compromised, that left them with only one alternative; to seek help from the Giovanni family. The very next day they moved into an apartment complex sponsored by the mafia and most of them started taking on jobs with the Family...that is all but Allen. He didn't want to commit to anything; partly because he didn't know what niche he could fit in, partly because he was just lazy.

By the time both Moka and Chris, someone else that worked for the Giovanni family, called him on it Allen finally decided that something dealing with computers would be his best bet. The next day he checked in with Gabby, one of their gang he knew was pretty darn good with computers already, to see what she thought of him becoming a hacker. Basically he was asking for her help in case he got stuck because he knew he wasn't up to that level yet.

Still he was optimistic and went in to start his training with Chino. No one had warned him of this guy's sadistic teaching methods! Strapped to a chair that would shock you if you failed to perform a required task in time was just mind blowing! And darn effective, too. So his training began at the more basic level.

Thinking that maybe now was the time to try out a gun in real life, he got Moka to take him out to a practice range for some lessons. Turns out that it was a lot more difficult, noisy and dangerous than in the astral plane! Allen decided to leave guns to Moka here and only deal with the ones he could call to himself on the other plane.

Allen's next encounter with guns was also not to his liking. While a group of them were out at a public laundromat, Shay and Terry surprised them by coming in, acting all weird, and then Terry opened fire on them all! Being a red head and sitting up on top of a table made him a fine target and one of the bullets got him in the left shoulder. Doran was able to drag him to safety by phasing them both through a wall. The poor boy doesn't remember too much after that.

He was 19 when they finally managed to get back Shay and Terry, which was awesome. A year after that he even found his mother, sort of. She was the head of the crazy cult that kept trying to brainwash Nicky into their dragon god. Sadly she doesn't beleive he is her missing child and he's plum out of ideas on how to convice her.

However after that Moka began having rage issues which put a bigger rift between them, a rift Allen already felt was large enough. Moka began talking about throwing him out of the relationship and no matter how hard Allen worked not to upset him nothing worked. Nicky acted as a glue, trying to hold them together, but Allen began to see that it wasn't a glue that would hold forever unless they could find a way to help Moka.

Before that could happen, Moka took things into his own hands by kidnapping Moka and hightailing it out of the city.  Desperate, Allen commandeered a friend's car and tracked them down using the GPS feature in Nicky's phone.  The talk they eventually had did little to heal the rift, but it was enough to bring everybody back home...where Moka promptly moved out of their apartment and into his own place.  Nicky, feeling Moka needed him more than Allen did, moved out as well.

Soon after that Kevin came to check up on Allen, concerned that his normally social-loving friend hadn't shown up at a big party bash.  During their talk Kevin, who had been turned into a Stigma awhile back, lost control of his appetite and decided to snack on Allen...until he killed him.  Luckily for Allen he held a dormant Stigma gene and did not die from the sudden blood loss.  So while he gained immortality, regeneration and dexterity, he lost his ability to travel to the astral plane.  And being from the Dai line, he was also denied a Family power too.

A year later both Nicky and Moka moved out of the country to join the Family in Italy.  Over the ensuing years Allen tries to keep his spirits up and learn a new lifestyle.  After another failed attempt to reconnect with his mother, he decides to give up on that ever happening.  On the romantic side he vows to keep things light and casual by not making any permanent relationships.  On the professional front, he decides to make the leap from computer hacker to soldier so he can put his Stigma abilities to good use.
