Before the RP
Shelton Inc. is the lead in genetic and neural research. They are renoWwn for being the first research facility to decode many parts of the brain and rumor has it they are nearing the breakthrough of memory.

Little known to the public, the government issued them a handful of research subjects, all human and all between the ages of 1 to 10 years of age. Save for one child who was born into the project for the sake of being the first human experiment, the others lasted eight years in the labs before they escaped.

Their escape was not a moment of amazing power, nor was it a frantic struggle. In fact none of them really remember the haze of the moment. A few remember a face, white-blonde long hair, dark perhaps missing or very shadowed eyes and a washed out image over all of a child that was about 'their age'. The only words any remember are: "... it's all right now... I'm taking you..." Very few remember the image of a 6 on the figure's hands, in black and a barcode.

After they awoke they found themselves waking up in a small abandoned night club location. It's only entrance and exit going out into the small alley that is 2nd Street. Where they'd come from, who they were was gone. Even what Shelton Inc. was all about. Their lives save for a few hazy moments, split between the escape and random painful or joyful memories cloaked in dreamlike fog, was all gone. They remembered their names, oddly enough, and how to speak, walk, and common day to day things. It was evident they had lost their memories. Or better to say: someone took them.

May 2008
It is learned that one of the group, Gabriel, is pregnant. She of course cannot remember the father since none of them remember their pasts. Everyone supports her.

June 2008
They lived and made do with the location on 2nd St. All seemed well until Barbara, one of the younger members who was very bent around the heights of fashion, brought home her new best girlfriend: Jade Giovanni. Jade was the heir to the Giovanni mafia family. She was basically a Mafia Princess. Everyone save for Barbara hated Jade and the problems she may bring to them. However as pointed out by Moka, one of the whips of the group, she also came with a livable life style for them. They were outcasts, they had no identity and they were already committing crimes to get by. The mafia provided paying jobs, security and a livelihood.

December 2008
The final push that led to the family thinking about taking up Jade's offer was that on Christmas black ops broke into the hide out and kidnapped Shay and Terry (twins). They also learned two trusted members, Caden and Jack, were traitors working for Shelton.

2009 - 2010
The gang joined the Giovanni Family. They worked for two years after the initial meeting when they decided it was the only direction they could take to get used to the new direction. Jade reigns over them by way of power and (attempted) friendship. To this day not everyone is pleased with her and misfires their anger, hatred and discontentment in her direction (despite agreeing to the terms on their own will power).

They still brush up against unusual phenomenon designed by Shelton Inc. and they have lost members of their self-proclaimed family to them. Now and then they also still use the old hideout.

June 2010
Shelton learns of Gabriel's daughter, Mana, and many attempts are made to steal the child to learn what evolutions have occured in a second generation of the experiment. The team Capo, Chino, takes a special interest in the girls protection.

The rescue of Shay and Terry is a success! Sadly both are in bad mental condition due to torturous methods used by Shelton to bring out new powers in them both. Specifically Terry is very broken and seems obssessive over his sister and hates Jack passionately.

Caden and Jack, both now known traitors, defect and join the Giovanni family. They were both assigned watchers for a time as they were not outright trusted.

Doran and Jennifer were taken by mutants in the subway attack. Allen and the group attempted to save them but when they ran to the site they found nothing, no monster and no people – as though both had just vanished into thin air.

During the entrapment at Shelton, Jennifer and Doran meet the aparition of Unlucky 6 - the one who freed them in the first place. Still a prisoner of the company and far more powerful then any of the kids, he awakens Jennifers natural psychic power: Absorption. Copying Doran's ability the two escape.

July 2010
Barbara, Sai and Abigail were practicing their abilities (under Fei’s guard) when they were attacked by a mutant monster. William tried to warn them but was ignored until it was too late. The battle went from bad to worse when Shay teleported into the middle of the chaos in response to a cry for help, both she and Sai taking heavy injuries. Shay was saved by William’s healing abilities while Sai discovered she can heal herself.

Caden, Jack, Kevin and Terry are sent to look into a possible hit on a family and learn if it was the act of the Northstar family. Upon arrival they meet Jared, a cleaner for the massacre who claims to be bottom of the totem pole until he is insulted, then he attacks with an inhuman prowess! Fighting him results in powers being used and peeks his interest; thankfully the boys manage to flee.

T.C. and Nicole are asked by Gregory to infiltrate Shelton as college students on an internship. They are assigned to work under Michael. In the process they learn Barbara may be the Shelton CEO’s (Jacob) daughter.

At the same time, Abigial is trapped in a future world in which Moka has gone crazy, Shelton is taking over Generica and there is an evil vampire killing everyone shortly before a nuclear blast ends it all for everyone!

August 2010
Jared begins attacking the kids to siphon their abilities: Caden and Aurora. Finally, realizing who made these kids to begin with, he goes after Shelton but is stopped before reaching too deep.

December 2010
Jared, using the alias "Sam", dates Nicole to get information on the kids.

January 2011
Gregory steps down as head of the family, Jade raises to take his place with her new political husband.

May 2012
Barbara learns Jacob is her father. The two connect and Jacob begins to weave his magic into convincing her he is a good man.

Jared learns about and reaches Unlucky 6, who allows him to devour him. Issue is Jared doesn't just take his abilities, he takes HIM. As a result he begins to lose control, even blowing his cover with Nicole.

July 2012
Barbara refuses to "come home" and stays with her father, learning more about her past and how she is the reason Jacob ever began his experiments in Shelton. Ironically it is at this point Michael, the scientific golden goose of the project (and Jacob's brother), changes sides to the Giovanni. The family also learns that William's missing girlfriend is being used to wipe the minds of those who oppose Shelton.

Abigial's future self appears, bringing warnings that they all dy in a nuclear war. Amoung the dead is Allen, by Moka's hand. In an attempt to prevent this she tries to kill Moka but is instead killed by Chino at the last second.

During this time Moka's aggression issues (the first symptom in breaking down into an abomination) are cured by TC's grandmother, an old voodoo priestess.

August 2012
The staple triad of lovers (Nicky, Moka & Allen) falls apart. Nicky remains with Moka but poor Allen is left out in the cold. Barbara tries to plead her father's case to Doran only to have her father walk in and kidnap them both.

During this time Caden and Aurora learn that the mayor is in Shelton's pocket. Mr. Wellford has been selling orphaned children to the company for years. Chale faces Jared for the first time and survives, but in bad health.

Days after his vanishing Doran comes back as a Shelton operatives and tries to steal Michael. Everyone is shocked. Barbara, meanwhile has been told that Doran was "set back to who he was" by Jacob's brain rewriter. To keep his daughter around Jacob also wrote in for Doran to love Barbara to bits - which was exactly what she wanted.

Not long after Fei was murdered by Doran while attempting to protect Zack. Worse, Zack was taken by Doran and Barbara meaning he is now with Shelton. All in all its been a huge moral blow to everyone to be so deeply betrayed by one of their own that he actually KILLED a team leader.

Weeks later the family comes together and recaptures Doran. Chale opts to use astral projectors to help unite both "selves" of Doran, making one whole person who knows everything.

Other big news is that Saidi miscarried her baby due to stress. Stress caused by her worrying so much about Abigail’s prediction that TC would be under Shelton.

December 2012
Barbara and Doran are back among the group. The transition was easier for Doran (ironically) then Barbara. Mostly this is due to everyone realized Doran had no choice in having his brain attacked with a Lysol can while Barbara made the conscious choice to side with daddy.

Evan did manage to get out of his kitty form with TC’s Grandmother helping him. She warned him that he became stuck that was as a karmatic backlash and that if he didn’t find the source other bits of “bad luck” could still befall him.

Chale barely managed to “rescue” Tsume from Jared’s clutches. There is also talk of kidnappings on the news which have many locals afraid for anyone after dark.
