Not to put a fire in anyone’s underwear or to start competition (given we have a serious lack OF competition…) Those people who have their kids in arranged marriages do not feel like it is in stone!
Depending on the kids as they grow older and depending on the parents (on both sides) if there is a problem with the couple their arrangement will be canceled! For instance, if Kohana (not yet up but in tLoD) grows up to be some willful opinionated and inelegant creature then Saizo’s parents are going to call off the arrangement.
Likewise it is unwise to have more then one person in a family arranged into the same family. This is somewhat taking place right now with the Promatheas and if one of those kids from the other family (DuChance) slips up even a millimeter you can bet an arrangement will be called off.
I am letting you guys know this so that no one comes whining later going “But we had plans…” because plans get called or rearranged depending on how players play their characters. I figure this is a good enough warning for all.
Feel free to screw up, I want people to play their characters to their fullest and if that means sabotaging their arranged marriages then so be it. It gives more depth to the characters after all.
As it says, some people in tLoD are getting to old or are to high ranked to not be married. Now I know I cannot conjure up a cupid bow and arrow to shoot into people to have them make ‘mates’ for them but I figured I’d throw out the information for anyone on the fence.
People who are over the age of 50 are often married off by now if they have any rank what so ever.
If your character’s name is on the list that doesn’t mean you have to run out and beg someone to make your spouse! It just means that people are going to start rumors about you and think maybe you’re just a ‘player’ who doesn’t have the strict honor to be serious about family duties.

Guys I have started to update some of the CISs. They will reflect events and such after the 10 years. They do not have the most completed histories or such (since plot lines have yet to happen) but their ages, skill and pictures reflect the change (if there was any change on the image).
Those updated are:
- Kouryou Taiga (River)
- Saizo (Not totally done yet… Demi is on it)
- Tsuhi
- Shiki (yes he has a full image and CIS now)
So tLoD will have a few kids. Not as many as CoA by any means.

I am making up the time line for the 10 year jump in The Land of Dragons.
I do not have requests for every character. Which means that at this point if your request can’t be fit into the time line then it won’t happen.
I will be finishing the Time Line by Oct. 1st so please get in any time-sensitive requests by then. You have until Oct. 15th to send in simple ones. (more…)
This year we would like to offer you guys to do a Halloween image from any role playing group. Take any character (that you have permission to draw) and represent them in any way for Halloween.

Alright now that that is out… Yes, Tsuhi looks REALLY Aetherian. He is River/Kouryou Taiga + Magnus/Kogashimasu’s boy. Basically he’s the first half breed and our irrefutable proof that ya’ll can have babies with them big dragon riding freaks.
Now why not give him more of a Ryuko look?

So hell no.
As a note Tsuhi is ‘controversial’ in both Aether and tLoD. He is not a pariah like the low/high born kids are. He’s just a bit fat What the Fuck to them both.
I realize there are yet more children….rather like flowers in a feild O.o, so for them there is something to know:
1. There is only 5 of you (I beleive *shiftily watches to floor boards for more to sprout*) so you can all get to know each other if you want.
2. Tayanna is a pariah much in the same way Desdemona is to nobles. She is a Nazcan, to everyone and their mother that means she is the baby of the murdering savages that have been slaughtering (raping, skinning in some cases, slavery, you name it) their people for the last 100 years.
